First Person Living History Immersive Training

Greetings from the Cultural and Historical Interpretation Section of NAI!

We are gearing up for our First Person Living History Immersive Training event to be held at Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site in La Junta, Colorado, from Wednesday, June 6 through Sunday, June 10, 2018. We hope you can join us! We have a great program lined up and look forward to providing this opportunity to everyone interested in learning hands-on methods for developing and improving their first person interpretive skill set. The training’s instructors have extensive background in living history, interpretation, public history, and museum studies and are looking forward to working with interpreters of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.

Please download the application packet which provides all the pertinent information regarding cost, travel, training, and contact information. Please note that the deadline to apply is April 15, 2018!
